How to construct your resume to satisfy the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) screening techniques

As the author states, “No longer are resumes merely a listing of jobs and duties. They are truly promotional materials. As such, it is no longer enough to say that you are a creative, motivational problem-solver. You need to demonstrate it.” Applicant Tracking Systems have progressed to the point where they now use “conceptualization technology” to determine in what context the keywords are being used. This is why simply itemizing your keywords on the resume might not be good enough to pass the ATS screening. In my opinion, a well constructed professional summary section is a good place to do that.
