It’s a good idea for you to start and consistently update a “Documentation File” where you record all accomplishments, verbal praise given by clients or internal team members, new day-to-day responsibilities, increase in skills such as learning a relevant IT program, and any other factor that PROVES your worth to the organization.  Not only do people forget things over time, but instead of coming across as “Take my word for it, I am doing a good job” you will have documented evidence that should help in any salary negotiation.
