Very good article on the importance of a well written Summary section for the resume. However, the Summary can most definitely be more than one or two sentences as the article states. It should be a short paragraph or a series of three to four bullet points that highlight your most marketable skills and experience for the position you are applying for. If you believe the statement that company decision-makers will spend only 10 seconds reviewing all the resumes they receive for an open position, where do you think they will spend that 10 seconds? Most likely the Summary. If they like that, they will review the entire resume.
