I got fired after working for FREE for 3 years.

I didn’t see it coming… But the red flags were there 🚩

Here are 5 red flags you’re quietly being pushed out 👇🏼

1️⃣ You're suddenly left out of meetings you used to be in

🚩 If you were always in the room and now you're not, that's not an accident…

👉🏼 Ask your manager directly: "I noticed I wasn't included in this meeting. Is there a reason?" Take note of their response.

2️⃣ Your responsibilities are slowly being reassigned

🚩 Projects you owned are now "team efforts." Your workload shrinks without explanation.

👉🏼 Request a 1:1 to clarify your role and get it down in writing.

3️⃣ Feedback becomes vague or nonexistent

🚩 No constructive criticism. No praise. Just... silence.

👉🏼 Ask for specific feedback. If they can't give it, that tells you everything you need to know.

4️⃣ You're being set up to fail

🚩 Impossible deadlines. No resources. Unreasonable goals that keep shifting.

👉🏼 Document EVERYTHING. Send recap emails after every conversation.

5️⃣ Your gut is screaming at you!

🚩 You feel the energy shift and something just doesn’t sit right.

👉🏼 Trust yourself. Start building your exit plan NOW – not when it's too late.

I learned these the hard way.

But you don’t have to.

If you recognize the signs early, you gain leverage.

Preparation beats panic.

Always.
