Good Advice on Preparing for a Behavioral Based Interview. Notice the soft skills the company puts in the job description. Make sure you can provide real life stories that prove you possess those skills. For example, “Tell me about a time when you had to use your team-building skills to accomplish a goal or solve a problem.” Use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach to answer, but I would add what you learned from the experience to that formula.
