The “higher salary later” is actually a good negotiation tool. Negotiating for an early salary review can substantially increase your compensation within three to six months.
However, the creator of this post is correct - if it’s not in writing it does not exist. Additionally, make sure the offer letter states early SALARY review - not simply review.
Even if they provide an early salary review, that does not mean they have to increase it. It only means they must review it, so keep documentation on your achievements to support your case during the process.
