Some excellent advice on how to write a Thank You note

Some excellent advice on how to write a Thank You note. Thank You notes should be sent after every interview. This article discusses the type of material that should be included in the Thank You note. One area of slight disagreement with the author is that she mentions you might want to include areas of marketability that were not discussed during the interview. Be careful in doing that. You already had the opportunity to discuss your value to the organization during a live interview. Interview preparation is the key. Going back to marketing yourself in writing can be working backwards. “Never market yourself in writing when you can do it over the phone, and never market yourself on the phone when you can do it live.” You already had the opportunity to do it live. Just use your best judgement on that.
