This article reviews the procedure to identify and market what I like to call your “Personal Points of Marketability.” Many people would call these soft skills. All of these skills are transferable if you are thinking of changing your functional area of employment or the industry you are currently working in. When you market these skills, make sure you provide an example to prove it is true. Otherwise, you are simply giving an opinion of yourself. Not a factual statement – at least to the people conducting the interview.
